Surprises I Find

Love-
green eyes
flash fire
so hot
voice of silk
trickles over body
melting honey
of passion flows
scorches body
his finger stroke
feather light caresses
stoke roaring sensations
we breathe as one
tangled in sheets
legs twined together
we reach the pinnacle
misty clouds surrounded
heights of passion escalate
balloon explodes
holding tight we free fall
return with a thud
passion spent
lust or love-

River of blood flows-
bodies lay mangled
families morn
sirens shrill
planes drone
bombs explode
earth craters scar
levels buildings destroy
smoke plumes
fires of hell burn
lives torn apart
like flesh from bone
fear darkens
souls weep wail
moon fades
sun extinguished
world is dormant
river of blood congeals-

World spins-
day turns to night
night to day
oceans ebb
and flow
volcanoes erupt
earth quakes shatter
crumbles and destroys
rain falls
wind gusts
gentle and fierce
lightning strikes
flashes and burns
babies are young
soon to grow old
we are born
live and die
we sleep
we work
friends today
enemies tomorrow
life goes on

world spins-

These photos I took in 1992 on a visit to Amsterdam, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
